At around 2 a.m. on May 12th, 2007, a 20-year-old woman named Maggie woke up totally confused in her bedroom. As she sat there looking around her dark room trying to get her bearings, she suddenly became aware of high pitched screaming coming from the room next door – her brother's room. Then she heard loud crashing and banging sounds, like the sound of people wrestling each other. Maggie was terrified, but she climbed out of her bed and walked over to her closed door. And then after taking a deep breath, she opened it up and stepped into the hallway. Moments later, local police would arrive at Maggie's house, and at first when they searched the home, it was still and quiet. But when they went upstairs, they discovered something so horrible, that trying to use words to describe it doesn't really do it justice. Once under the water, this person grabbed a can of shaving cream and applied it to their entire body, and slowly, they began shaving off every hair on their body, except for the hair on their head. After they were done, they hopped out of the shower, toweled off, got dressed, and then began the next phase of their prep – packing their backpack with things like latex gloves and plastic sheets. After they were done, they climbed into bed and set their alarm for very early the next morning. They were nervous about how the next day was going to go, but they were confident they were ready. 24 hours later, what this hairless person did was all over the news... But when Joe got about halfway down the hall, he happened to look into the family room, and he thought he saw something moving inside. He strained his eyes to see who it was, thinking maybe it was his wife or son, but he just couldn't tell. But as Joe stared into the darkness, he heard the sound of floorboards creaking inside the family room. And then before Joe could do anything, the thing he had seen moving was now rushing straight towards him. Hours later, Kentucky State Police would arrive at Joe's house, and what they would discover there was a monstrous crime that literally had never been committed before in this part of Kentucky. And so eventually, this father just left the parking lot and headed back home, believing his daughter must have found another way home. Unfortunately, though, that was not the case. On the night of November 8th 2010, a 24-year-old woman named Jennifer walked downstairs into the living room of her parents' house to say goodnight to her mother. But before she walked over to the couch where her mother was to give her a hug, Jennifer noticed something moving outside on the dark street. Jennifer stopped where she was and looked out the window, but she couldn't see anything unusual. So she walked over to the front door and looked out the little window on it, and after staring out into the street for a few moments, she decided she must not have seen anything at all. So she walked back over to her mother, who had noticed her looking outside and had a look of concern on her face, and Jennifer just said, "Oh, I thought I saw something moving out there, but it was nothing." Then the 2 women said goodnight, and Jennifer headed up stairs and went to sleep. It would turn out, there actually was something moving around outside the house. And about 30 minutes after Jennifer had gone back upstairs, the thing she saw made its way across the street, up their stairs, and into their house... right up to Jennifer's room.
